Notes

'Radiance' glossy abelia (Abelia grandiflora 'Radiance') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Pink and white flowers appear in spring, summer, and autumn, and they bring butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The arching stems also have fragrant blooms.

Pairs well with Garden phlox, Fountain grass, and Bloodgood Japanese maple.
