Notes

'Ralph Senior' arrowwood viburnum (Viburnum dentatum 'Ralph Senior') is a shrub for borders, hedges, foundation plantings, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it, and it blooms in spring and again in summer. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It has a dense habit and grows 6 to 10 feet tall.

Pairs well with Lilac, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Buckeye Belle peony, and Nodding onion.
