'Red Panther' freesia (Freesia 'Red Panther') is a bulb for cut flowers and specimen use. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant flowers are brown-red with a lemon yellow center and open from early to late summer.

Pairs well with Rabbit's ears, Christmas bells, Vetiver, and Dragon Wing Red begonia.
