'Red Spider' zinnia (Zinnia 'Red Spider') is an annual for borders and containers. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and 12 to 24 inches wide. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms, which open from early to late summer.
Pairs well with Velvet Queen sunflower, Spiked speedwell, and Blue grama.
