Notes

Redvein enkianthus (Enkianthus campanulatus) is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, winter interest, and foundation beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows upright and reaches 6 to 10 feet tall. Creamy yellow to orange blooms attract bees, and the leaves turn color in fall.

Pairs well with Inkberry, Paperbark maple, and Star magnolia.
