Notes
'Remembrance' columbine (Aquilegia 'Remembrance') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Violet blue and white flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Sedge, Royal fern, Yellow trout-lily, and Invincibelle Ruby smooth hydrangea.
