Notes

Resurrection fern (Pleopeltis polypodioides) is a fern for shade gardens, rock gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It forms a slow, clumping evergreen mat of green fronds about 12 inches tall and wide. It is drought tolerant, and birds are drawn to it.

Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Foam flower, Lady fern, and Hinoki cypress.
