Notes

Rocky mountain beeplant (Cleomella serrulata) is an annual for borders, meadows, and low maintenance gardens. This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its purple or white flowers attract hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Mourning doves also eat the seeds. Deer tend to pass it by. Give it soil that drains well, because it does not tolerate soggy ground.

Pairs well with Basket flower, Red fescue, Sticky purple geranium, and Colorado blue spruce.
