Notes

Sticky purple geranium (Geranium viscosissimum) is a perennial for borders, meadows, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Pink to lavender, saucer-shaped flowers open at the stem tips. Sticky hairs cover the stems, leaves, and flower stalks, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the plant.

Pairs well with Red fescue, Woods rose, and Twinflower.
