Notes

Rose glory bower (Clerodendrum bungei) is a shrub for borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Fragrant red flowers attract butterflies and open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The plant is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Azalea, Snapdragon, and Tuberose.
