Notes

'Rosea' dittany (Dictamnus albus 'Rosea') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry soil. Soft pink flowers with purple veining rise above glossy leaves that smell of citrus when crushed. Deer tend to pass it by. Bees visit the fragrant blooms, and star-shaped seed pods follow in summer.

Pairs well with Green Jewel coneflower, Prairie junegrass, and Sahara rudbeckia.
