Notes

Roundleaf alum-root (Heuchera cylindrica) is a perennial for rock gardens, woodland edges, slopes, and naturalistic plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to average soil. Slender stems rise above the leathery, kidney-shaped leaves and carry small, urn-shaped flowers. The blooms attract bees. Once established, it handles drought well and needs little care.

Pairs well with Sedge, Picture tulip, and Virginia rose.
