'Royal Velvet' celosia (Celosia 'Royal Velvet') is an annual for cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and accents. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. Deer tend to pass it by. It blooms from early to late summer. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers.
