Notes

'Royalty' crabapple (Malus 'Royalty') is a tree for borders, pollinator gardens, and low maintenance landscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Bees, butterflies, and birds visit the fragrant blooms. It is also drought tolerant once settled in. The tree is self-fertile, so you only need one.

Pairs well with Plum, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Royal fern.
