Notes

'Salmon Runner' dahlia (Dahlia 'Salmon Runner') is a bulb with pink flowers in smoky coral and raspberry. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. The four inch blooms appear from early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Protect it from winter wet by growing it in a pot you can move, or lift and store the tubers in a cool, dry, frost free spot.

Pairs well with Shenandoah switchgrass, Millenium ornamental onion, and Elfin mother of thyme.
