Notes

Sand spikemoss (Selaginella uncinata) is a perennial for containers, accents, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and moist, clay soil. It creeps along the ground and grows fast, so give it room to spread. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. The blue-green foliage stays evergreen.

Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Cinnamon fern, and Aureola Japanese forest grass.
