Notes

'Saxapahaw' arctic daisy (Chrysanthemum 'Saxapahaw') is a perennial for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Dusky rose flowers with yellow eyes open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Bees visit the blooms, and plants reach up to 36 inches tall. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Delphinium, and Queen of Night tulip.
