Notes

'Schwefelglanz' winter aconite (Eranthis hyemalis 'Schwefelglanz') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, and naturalized drifts. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Light yellow flowers open in late winter and carry on into spring, and bees visit them. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. The clumps stay 2 to 4 inches tall.

Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Carlton daffodil, and Sedge.
