Notes

Seaside daisy (Erigeron glaucus) is a perennial for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its slightly succulent leaves form compact tufts, and butterflies and bees visit the large violet and yellow flowers. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Cut it back every 2-3 years to keep it tidy.

Pairs well with Licorice plant, Narrow-leaf chalksticks, Coral aloe, and Buffalo grass.
