Notes

Aspen fleabane (Erigeron speciosus) is a perennial for borders, meadows, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Each stem bears showy flower heads nearly 2 inches wide with many narrow rays around a yellow disc. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. It forms colonies, so divide mature plants when the rosettes begin to overlap.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Big bluestem, and Texas bluebonnet.
