This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms from early to late spring. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it, and it is drought tolerant once settled in.
Pairs well with Rose, Snowberry, Sweet woodruff, and Black Parrot tulip.
