Notes

Siberian spring beauty (Claytonia sibirica) is an annual for ground cover, woodland gardens, and low maintenance beds. Few annuals handle cold as well, and with a little winter protection it grows on through light freezes. This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms in white or pink from late winter into summer. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Little brown jug, Japanese forest grass, and Bluebell.
