Notes

Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and low maintenance spots. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Its blue, fragrant flowers open in early to late spring. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Common cowslip, Siebold's hosta, and Ornamental onion.
