Notes
Silver jade plant (Crassula arborescens) is a succulent for borders, containers, and xeriscape beds. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It grows slowly into an erect, evergreen plant that reaches about 4 to 5 feet tall. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its drought tolerance makes it an easy keeper.
Pairs well with Paddle plant, American century plant, and Narrow-leaf chalksticks.
