Notes
'Silver Plate' celosia (Celosia 'Silver Plate') is an annual for cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and accents. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. It blooms from early to late summer. Deer tend to pass it by. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers, so it adds life to a summer bed.
Pairs well with Profusion zinnia, Mammoth Grey Stripe sunflower, Black Star gladiolus, and Belle of Barmera dahlia.
