Notes

Snapdragon vine (Maurandella antirrhiniflora) is a vine for containers, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and borders. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Small rose-purple flowers look like tiny snapdragons, and the Buckeye butterfly uses the vine as larval food. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It works well on small trellises, gates, and hanging baskets.

Pairs well with Blue-eyed grass, Lion's tail, and Sedge.
