Notes

'Softie' dahlia (Dahlia 'Softie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It grows 48 to 60 inches tall and wide, so give it room. The pink blooms have yellow centers and open in early to late summer, then again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Snapdragon, Blue Angel hosta, and Aster.
