Notes

'Blue Angel' hosta (Hosta 'Blue Angel') is a perennial for borders, shade gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The pale lavender to white flowers are fragrant and attract hummingbirds and bees. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and spreads 36 to 48 inches.

Pairs well with Fringed bleeding heart, Lungwort, and Sedge.
