Notes
'Soiree Kawaii Series Patented' Madagascar periwinkle (Catharanthus roseus 'Soiree Kawaii Series Patented') is a perennial for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late summer and early to late autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its upright growth is rapid, and it is drought tolerant.
Pairs well with Mexican bush sage, Jowey Winnie dahlia, and Black bamboo.
