Notes

'Soprano Light Purple' African daisy (Osteospermum 'Soprano Light Purple') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Salt tolerance makes it a fit for coastal beds.

Pairs well with Mexican daisy, Yarrow, and Lollipop purple top.
