Notes

Spider plant (Chlorophytum comosum) is a perennial for containers, borders, and low maintenance gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. Its arching green and white leaves form a neat mound up to 24 inches tall and wide. It is evergreen and tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Mondo grass, Staghorn fern, and Christmas fern.
