Notes

'Sportsman' daffodil (Narcissus 'Sportsman') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The fragrant yellow petals surround an orange-red trumpet and draw bees and butterflies. Brian S. Duncan bred it. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Picture tulip, Winter aconite, and Angel Cheeks peony.
