Notes
Stachyurus (Stachyurus praecox) is a shrub for borders, foundation plantings, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows in an arching shape and reaches 4 to 10 feet tall. Yellow-green flowers hang from the bare stems in winter and spring, and bees visit them.
