Notes

'Sunrise' coneflower (Echinacea 'Sunrise') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It blooms from early to late summer and brings in butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. The flowers are fragrant, and the plant handles dry spells well.

Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Blue Fortune Bill Williams Mountain giant hyssop, Hardy geranium, and Nodding onion.
