Notes

Sweet almond bush (Aloysia virgata) is a shrub for borders, pollinator gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its fragrant white flowers draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer. The arching, evergreen plant grows fast and tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Pomegranate, Lemongrass, and Creme de Cassis dahlia.
