Notes

Pomegranate (Punica granatum) is a shrub for hedges, specimen planting, containers, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Orange-red flowers open in spring, summer, and autumn, and hummingbirds and bees visit them. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Give this multi-stemmed shrub room to spread.

Pairs well with Pineapple sage, Loquat, and Lemongrass.
