Notes

'Sweet Surprise' dahlia (Dahlia 'Sweet Surprise') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. L.J.C.W. Berbee bred it. The light blue-pink blooms open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Honka White dahlia, So White gaura, Purple top, and Lemongrass.
