Notes

'Tall Blue Planet' ageratum (Ageratum houstonianum 'Tall Blue Planet') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Blue flowers bloom from early to late summer and draw butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The tall, upright stems are sturdy and reach 24 to 30 inches.

Pairs well with Neon calendula, Garden balsam, and Red fescue.
