Notes

'Blue Mink' flossflower (Ageratum houstonianum 'Blue Mink') is an annual for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows about 12 inches tall and wide, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Plants also handle dry spells well.

Pairs well with Mealycup sage, Cosmos, and Zinnia.
