Notes

Tall hairy agrimony (Agrimonia gryposepala) is a perennial for woodland gardens, naturalized areas, and shade borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil. Wand-like clusters of small yellow flowers rise above the leaves in mid to late summer. The stem gives off a spicy odor when crushed.

Pairs well with Goldenseal, Big Daddy hosta, and Blackhaw viburnum.
