Notes
'Tanita' dahlia (Dahlia 'Tanita') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. Its fully double blooms reach up to 5.5 inches across in fuchsia-pink with red undersides on sturdy stems from summer to fall. It sits low on the menu for deer. Protect it from winter wet by lifting and storing it in a cool, dry, frost free place.
Pairs well with Globemaster allium, Sea holly, and Buffalo grass.
