Notes

'Globemaster' allium (Allium 'Globemaster') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Its deep lavender globes produce secondary florets that extend the bloom time. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Prairie dropseed, and Butterfly milkweed.
