Notes
'Tarantina' common myrtle (Myrtus communis 'Tarantina') is an evergreen shrub with fragrant white flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Small, shiny, pointed leaves cover the branches. White flowers with yellow-tipped stamens open in early to late summer and are followed by blue-black berries. In colder zones, grow it in a container and protect it in winter.
Pairs well with White sage, Gypsy rose, and Lemon Grass lemongrass.
