Notes
'Tecolote Orange' Persian buttercup (Ranunculus asiaticus 'Tecolote Orange') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and wide, and bees visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It flowers in spring and again in summer.
Pairs well with Wood forget-me-not, Perennial candytuft, and Snapdragon.
