Notes

'Tower Chamois' aster (Callistephus chinensis 'Tower Chamois') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It shrugs off cool spells and light frost, though a hard freeze will damage it. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Salmon, peony-type blooms open from early to late summer and again from early to late autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Double Zahara Cherry zinnia, Supertunia Bordeaux petunia, and Red fescue.
