Notes

'Triumphator' calamint (Clinopodium nepeta 'Triumphator') is a compact, mounding plant for Mediterranean gardens, rock gardens, herb gardens, and low hedging. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. Tiny white blooms attract bees from summer into autumn. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. The leaves smell of mint when crushed, and this form does not self-seed.

Pairs well with Lavandin, Elfin mother of thyme, Autumn moor grass, and Globemaster allium.
