Notes

'Turk's Turban' pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima 'Turk's Turban') is a vegetable for the food garden and for ground cover. It is typically grown as an annual. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The climbing vines grow at a rapid pace and bear white, green, and scarlet blooms from early to late summer. The buttercup-shaped fruits add a colorful fall display.

Pairs well with German Johnson tomato, Lime basil, and Cilantro.
