Notes

Twinflower (Linnaea borealis) is a perennial for ground cover and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and moist to wet soil. Trailing stems form open mats of glossy evergreen leaves. Pairs of nodding, pinkish-white flowers smell sweet and draw bees in summer. Give it good drainage, since it will not tolerate drought.

Pairs well with Crested wood fern, Sweet white violet, and American maidenhair fern.
