'Umineko' cherry (Prunus 'Umineko') is a tree for borders, specimen planting, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late autumn. Bees and birds visit it, and it grows about 25 to 30 feet tall.
