Notes

Ivy-leaved cyclamen (Cyclamen hederifolium) is a perennial for woodland gardens, shade gardens, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. The pink flowers often show a magenta V at the base of each petal, and the ivy-shaped leaves stay evergreen through winter. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Plant it en masse for a woodland effect.

Pairs well with Lungwort, Christmas fern, and Aureola Japanese forest grass.
